HCMC photo workshop

Worldwide water scarcity, river health and climate change risks are serious issues and poor consultation with communities can trigger protest or discontentment.

In Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the RCN team proposed a series of pop-up workshops to explore awareness of water in the city and work on new methods for meaningful community consultation.

Prioritizing engagement and having fun, the team chose creative methods and aimed for a one-click and a zero-carbon approach (not quite achieved!).

See the results posted at the pop-up photo elicitation workshop near Thị Nghè bridge, a famous location in one of the oldest parts of Saigon (the colonial-era name for the city).
